Kate Dyleski, AMFT, is a Contract Therapist on the Child and Teen team at the Refuge Center. Kate holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Lipscomb University, with a specialization in play therapy. Before pursuing her Master’s, she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Science from Samford University.

Kate has a passion for working with families and individuals as they navigate life’s challenges. Kate has experience working with anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, parenting concerns, unique family structures, and emotional regulation skills. She approaches therapy through a client-centered collaborative lens to create a safe space for client growth and connection. Kate utilizes play therapy techniques with children and teens while integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Narrative Therapy.
