Sliding Scale Fee Structure
The Refuge Center for Counseling was founded on the belief that everyone, regardless of income level, deserves a chance to improve their life and find hope and healing through counseling.
We are committed to offering the highest quality, professional counseling services.
Our fee for counseling services is $125 per clinical hour (50 minutes) and $157 per neurofeedback session. However, we offer clients with financial need sliding scale fees, which ranges from $25 to $125 per therapy session and $33 to $157 per Neurofeedback session. 90% of our clients use this fee scale. The sliding scale is based on gross (before taxes) annual household income and resources. With this system, no one is excluded based on income, and quality counseling can be afforded by all.
To apply for the sliding scale fee, please bring a copy of your most recent tax return to your intake appointment. Due to the vast affordability of our sliding scale, insurance is not accepted at The Refuge Center.
