Our feelings, thoughts, and behaviors are closely connected. Because of this, we now know that a challenge in one of these areas may lead to a challenge in another area. Therefore, it is important to examine both internal experiences (feelings and thoughts) and external behaviors.
With your Refuge therapist, you will work onidentifying behavioral patterns that may no longer be serving you.Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) are forms of therapy that can help accomplish this.
The goal is to build healthier emotional, cognitive, and behavioral patterns so you can feel more balanced, intentional, and aligned between your inner and outer experiences.
