Staff Therapist/Coordinator of OCD & Suicide Education
Tara Dembowczyk, LPC/MHSP, NCC is a Staff Therapist and Coordinator of OCD & Suicide Education. She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands and is a member of the Tennessee Licensed Professional Counselors Association.
Tara is passionate about working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, thoughts of suicide, grief/loss, OCD, spiritual abuse, and trauma. Her goal is to provide a safe space for individuals to share their pain and joy without judgment or condemnation while holding the therapeutic relationship with much care and gentleness. Tara is trained in EMDR levels I and II. She utilizes motivational interviewing, psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, exposure response prevention behavioral therapy, and various research-based techniques to meet each client’s unique needs.
