Sydney Rexford is a Master’s Level Intern at The Refuge Center. She is currently working towards a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from Lipscomb University and is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT). Sydney earned a BA in Psychology with a minor in Social Work and Counseling from Auburn University.
Sydney is passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families and uses clients’ strengths to promote healing. She uses humor and empathy to developing trusting relationships with her clients in hope of facilitating lasting change and deeper knowledge of the self. She is dedicated to creating a space where clients can feel safe, seen, and secure.
