Staff Therapist
Simeon Bontrager is a Staff Therapist and Front Desk Administrative Assistant at Refuge. A former Master’s Level Intern at Refuge, she earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Wisconsin-Superior and is pursuing full licensure. Prior to seeking Masters Level education, she received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wisconsin Lutheran College. She is a member of the American Counseling Association.
Simeon is passionate about working with children, teens, and young adults. Her focus is to work with those experiencing anxiety, depression, life adjustments, body image issues, athletic challenges and more. She believes in creating a supportive environment where clients feel safe, valued, and empowered. She will provide hope and encouragement for her clients as they work together through their journey of growth, healing, and self-discovery.
