Therapist/Saturday Supervisor
Sara Kate Hooper, LPC-MHSP, is a Therapist and Saturday supervisor at The Refuge Center. She holds a Master of Science degree in Professional Counseling from Lipscomb University. Sara Kate has a passion for helping adults find hope, healing, and resilience through the counseling process.
In addition to her experience working with adults struggling with trauma, life transitions, and relationship issues, she also has a background serving military veterans, couples experiencing infertility, and families who have lost a child. Sara Kate brings a deep sense of empathy, compassion, and care to the counseling setting while encouraging clients to share their stories within a safe and nurturing environment. Sara Kate is trained in Brainspotting and practices with a client-centered, solution-focused, approach designed to meet clients where they are and partner with them to achieve meaningful growth and healing.
