Master’s Level Intern

Madelaine Prue is a Master’s Level Intern and candidate for the Educational Specialist degree in Professional Counseling-Clinical Mental Health at Middle Tennessee State University with an educational focus on trauma-informed practice. Madelaine is trained in Phase I Brainspotting Therapy and has completed Level I training in the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy, and is an active student member of the Tennessee Licensed Professional Counselors Association.

Madelaine is passionate about working with adults in various phases of the lifespan, with a focus on working with those experiencing addiction and substance misuse, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), body image and eating disorders, process addictions, and grief. Madelaine operates from a lens that emphasizes the stories that shape each individual’s life, the values thatshape how one shows up, and the process of making meaning out of both the mundane and the profound. She believes in creating an environment of safety, connection, and a sense of being seen, amidst both success and tragedy.
