Emma Laney is a Master’s-level Intern in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at the University of the Cumberlands. She has a professional background in education and a strong passion for supporting individuals across the lifespan.

Emma is particularly interested in working with adolescents, college students, and young adults, including student athletes. She helps clients navigate concerns such as anxiety, life transitions, identity development, and performance-related stress, while fostering a safe, nonjudgmental environment where they feel understood and supported. Using a person-centered approach, Emma collaborates with clients to build confidence, strengthen resilience, and work toward meaningful, lasting growth.
