Donna Thompson LPC-MHSP (temp) holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and is pursuing Tennessee licensure with a mental health service provider designation.
Donna enjoys working with individuals from various backgrounds needing support with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, abuse, and life transitions. She is guided by her desire to be a source of hope, compassion, and encouragement to those in need. She is passionate about walking alongside her clients on their journey to experience growth, healing, and freedom in their lives and relationships. She values creating a safe space where clients feel heard, understood, and valued. She uses a collaborative, person-centered approach and is trained in EMDR, CBT, IFS, Narrative therapy and draws on multiple psychotherapeutic models to create a strengths- based plan unique to each individual.
