Live Intentionally 2019

We are so thankful for everyone who attended our 3rd annual “Live Intentionally” Speaker Series this past Friday, April 26th titled “Healing through Connection: Overcoming Trauma, Toxic Stress and Disease” with speaker Dr. Thomas Cabell and guest speakers Kate Moyer, Dr. Sommer White, MD and Tina Taylor Goode, LPC-MHSP (temp).

Thank you to Brentwood Baptist Church for allowing us to host our event in your beautiful Hudson Hall.

It is apparent that this topic hits close to home to so many in our community based on the response we’ve received after the event. Some comments included:

Tina Goode’s story of hope was very powerful.

Topic discussion was very concrete and data-driven with great “takeaways” that I can implement starting now.

This was useful information for daily living and ideas to improve and cope with stress.

The entire event was paired extremely well together for a holistic conversation. I personally really enjoyed Dr. Cabell’s presentation combining his own story with that of epigenetic research and healing possibilities.

If you missed the event, don’t worry, we did record the speakers and plan to have it on our YouTube Channel as soon as we can. Several attendees asked if we could post the speaker’s powerpoint presentations and they are linked below. Stay tuned for the video and we are already working on next year’s speaker series. If you have any input you’d like to provide, please email us. You can also still donate to support the work of our organization and this event here.
