Important Update and Upcoming BOMA Meeting

Friends,

On Tuesday, December 11th at 5:00 PM, we will be attending the City of Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen’s (BOMA) Work Session.

This will be the first official discussion regarding annexation of the Long Lane property, which The Refuge Center hopes to purchase as the site for our permanent home. While it is not an official vote, the work session will set the annexation process in motion if recommended by the BOMA.

As a supporter of The Refuge Center for Counseling, we would like to ask you to come to show your support at the BOMA meeting on Tuesday, December 11th at 5:00 PM at Franklin City Hall.

If you are a Franklin resident, or just want to voice your support of this project via email or phone, please visit this page.

The Refuge Center will have a chance to share our vision for the new location on Long Lane and also listen to those opposed. We ask for your support through your presence on Tuesday night and also request your prayers for that meeting.

Thank you,

Amy Alexander, LMFT

Executive Director & Co-Founder

Many questions have been asked since The Refuge Center for Counseling began negotiations to buy property along Long Lane across from Ladd Park. Please take time to read our letter to Ladd Park residents. We hope these FAQs will help those with questions remaining. If you have additional questions, please email us at info@therefugecenter.org. We will be glad to talk to you.
