Master’s Level Intern

Tatum is a Master’s Level Intern studying Clinical Mental Health at Middle Tennessee State University. She previously earned her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and is an active member of the American Counseling Association, Tennessee Licensed Professional Counselors Association, and the Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society.

Tatum views life as a kaleidoscope, beautifully comprised of events that evoke a range of emotions from joy to grief to boredom (and everything in between), which makes us all interesting beings with a breathtaking story to tell. Therefore, she is passionate about cultivating meaningful relationships with her clients to understand how their past and present circumstances impact the way they see the world, others, and themselves. Tatum has specialized training in Child-Centered Play Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Internal Family Systems, expressive arts, and other attachment-based techniques. She works with children, teens, and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, suicidal ideation, life transitions, relational difficulties, grief and loss, chronic illnesses, and more. Tatum believes it is an absolute priviledge to walk alongside others during any stage of their life, even the darkest parts, empowering them to see the light within themselves.
