Contract Therapist

Kathleen Farr is a therapist at The Refuge Center.  She obtained her master’s degree in Human Development Counseling (Clinical Mental Health) at Vanderbilt University and is licensed as an LPC-MHSP.  Kathleen draws from a variety of therapeutic models when working with clients.  She possesses specialized training in EMDR Level 1 & 2 and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).  She is also a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator.

Kathleen has a passion for working with adults, older adolescents, and couples.  She strives to create a warm, nurturing, and supportive space in which her clients can heal and gain new insights into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.  Kathleen aims to empower clients as they pursue authentic, hopeful, and meaningful lives.
