Jessica Scott, NCC is a member of the Post Master’s Volunteer Fellowship at The Refuge Center   Most recently, Jessica graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University and holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  She also holds a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology. Jessica is a current member of the Tennessee Licensed Professional Counseling Association and EMDRIA.

Jessica has experience working in and around the criminal justice system, including leading groups with recently released offenders, counseling survivors of crime, and working as a first responder.  Additionally, Jessica spent a decade working with children on the Autism spectrum.

Jessica is an active and collaborative counselor and enjoys seeing success and fulfillment in her clients.  She is trained in EMDR (L1) and has experience in Behaviorism, CBT techniques, and safety planning.  She welcomes individuals of any age who struggle with anxiety, depression, domestic violence/intimate partner violence trauma, and brings life experience into her work with first responders.
