Contract Therapist
Tara Dembowczyk holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and the Tennessee Licensed Professional Counselors Association. Tara holds her temporary LPC-MHSP license.
Tara is passionate about working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, grief/loss, OCD, and those with faith concerns/church hurt. Her goal is to provide a safe space for individuals to share their pain and joys without judgment or condemnation while holding the therapeutic relationship with much care and gentleness. Tara is trained in EMDR levels I and II. She utilizes psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and various research-based techniques to meet each client’s unique needs.
