It takes two.

At Refuge, one of our counselors will facilitate communication between you and your partner, helping to identify underlying issues such as miscommunication, unmet needs, trust issues, or conflicting expectations. Using therapeutic techniques like emotionally focused therapy (EFT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), or the Gottman Method, the counselor will guide you in developing healthier communication patterns, rebuilding trust, and enhancing emotional intimacy. The sessions may also focus on conflict resolution skills and strategies to strengthen your relationship. The goal of marital counseling is to help both partners understand each other better, resolve conflicts constructively, and foster a stronger, more resilient relationship.

Your relationship deserves to thrive.

At Refuge, we get it, relationships are hard, but so worth it.

Counseling Services

We all have different journeys and roads we take towards healing and transformation, so at Refuge, we take the time to specifically pair each of our clients with the therapists, tools, modalities, and resources they need to get to where they want in life. That is why our therapists cover such a wide range of ages, treatments, life stages, and more.
