Contract Therapist

Sarah Chisolm Miller is a Contract Therapist and graduate of the Master’s Level Intern Program at The Refuge Center for Counseling. She is a graduate from Belmont University with a degree in Marriage and Family Counseling and Clinical Pastoral Therapy. Sarah is currently pursuing full MFT licensure with the state of Tennessee and is under the supervision of Cresson Haugland, LMFT.

Sarah believes in the power of creating a safe and compassionate space in which clients can discover internal strengths and solutions on their journey to healing. Using a holistic mindset and a myriad of therapeutic modalities, Sarah strives to assist clients as they develop a sense of safety and belonging in the story of their life. Specifically, Sarah focuses on working with couples, parents of neurodivergent children, women and couples facing infertility, miscarriage, and child loss, college students, and neurodivergent adults. Sarah holds extended experience in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and is currently completing certifications as an ADHD Clinical Services Provider, an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist, a Certificated Clinical Trauma Professional, and a Mental Health First Aid Provider.
