rooted and grounded

Each day, at The Refuge Center, I encounter men, women, and children of all ages and all walks of life. I often reflect on how each person is loved and cherished by God.

I’ve been thinking about God’s love for us a lot lately. Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3:19 is that we would be rooted and grounded in His love and that we would have the strength to comprehend, “the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge.”

This is my prayer for all who walk into The Refuge Center. I pray that those who enter would be rooted and grounded in His love and filled with all the fullness of God. His love changes us. His love saves us. His love takes away hopelessness and despair and worry. His love brings healing to the deepest parts of us.

I pray that you are captivated by His love today.
