The Refuge Center Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary, Unveils New Logo

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Refuge Center for Counseling is celebrating 10 years of offering affordable, professional counseling services to individuals, couples and families in need in the Middle Tennessee area.

Founded in 2005 by executive director Amy Alexander and Jennifer Gillett, the nonprofit organization has grown from serving just 90 clients in its first year of existence to serving more than 1,800 clients in 2014.

“It’s an incredible milestone and a time to reflect on the more than 60,000 clinical hours that staff, interns and volunteers at The Refuge Center for Counseling have walked with clients on their path toward hope and healing over the past decade,” said Alexander. “When Jen and I started this organization, I never could have imagined the positive impact it would have on the health of our community.”

As a way to honor its rich history and look toward its dynamic future, The Refuge Center is commemorating its anniversary by unveiling a new logo.

“We are excited to share our new look, as it communicates the safety, security and connection that is offered to each client who walks through our doors,” said Alexander. “We look forward to spreading our vision and mission even further as we enter our next decade of serving clients in need.”
