Dear Refuge Center family, friends and supporters,
Because of the generosity of friends like you the last 14 years, we have been able to provide over 138,000 high-quality, affordable counseling sessions to thousands of clients in 17 counties in Middle Tennessee. Maybe you have a specific passion for widows and orphans; perhaps you have a heart for survivors of abuse or neglect? Perhaps, God has stirred in you a desire to help those battling addictions or to reach someone contemplating suicide. You may be devoted to encouraging health in marriages and families and want to invest your efforts in strengthening those in this community. Or, unimaginably, you’ve lost someone you loved, and you want to bring comfort to those who are grieving. At The Refuge Center, we have the privilege of providing life-changing support to all of these needs and more, because of our supporters and friend’s investment in this ministry.
Our clients are finding safety and shelter amid life’s storms, and sometimes that truly means the difference between life and death.
And it is a reminder: you are not alone in this.
We give thanks to God for your generosity that makes this LIFE-GIVING work possible every year.
No one is ever turned away from The Refuge Center because of finances. It is because of your support that we are able to offer counseling sessions on a sliding scale. Thank you! And for the client- no matter what their life storm, their zip code, their income or otherwise, when they come to The Refuge Center, they receive access to the very best care.
We ended 2019 as new owners of seven acres of beautiful land in Franklin, TN, where we hope to build our larger permanent home as the need for our services is at an all-time high. We need you to make this happen. There has never been a more crucial time in our organization’s history than right now. Winston Churchill said, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” Your generosity changes lives. Thank you!
