Dear friend,
The Refuge Center for Counseling’s mission in our community is to offer affordable, professional counseling services to empower, educate, and support individuals, couples and families in need. Our sliding scale-based fee system allows us to serve everyone, no matter their economic situation, and it is supported by grants, fundraising and generous community partners like you. You can play an important role in our mission by becoming a corporate sponsor of our fifth annual Hope Grows event.
Hope Grows, a fundraising dinner which will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at The Factory at Franklin, is a celebration of the hope and healing our clients find at The Refuge Center. We also honor a member of the Middle Tennessee community who exemplifies our values with our annual Hope Award. Last year’s Hope Award winner was Tim Corbin, head baseball coach of the Vanderbilt Commodores.
At The Refuge Center, we tell our clients they are not alone. We certainly cannot raise our 2017 Hope Grows goal of $100,000 alone; we need your help as a partner supporting mental health in our community. In addition to making a tremendous difference in the lives of our clients, your gift as a corporate sponsor will offer you the opportunity to receive special marketing benefits and recognition. Additional information about these benefits can be found here.
We’ve seen firsthand the life-changing impact of our work, as we’ve provided over 80,000 counseling sessions since opening our doors in 2005. Through counseling, many are able to receive help before a family dispute turns violent, before a teen feels there is no hope for their life, before a couple gives up on their marriage, or before someone turns to drugs to escape their pain. We believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to seek therapeutic resources regardless of their ability to pay. You can help us provide this opportunity to more members of our community.
I hope we can count on you to partner with us as a corporate sponsor of Hope Grows today. Feel free to contact me at amy.cochran@therefugecenter.org or Allena Bell, our Director of Donor Relations, at allena.bell@therefugecenter.org with any questions.
Thank you for your consideration! I look forward to speaking with you soon.
Sincerely,
Amy Cochran
