#GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, this year, November 28, 2017, to kick off the holiday giving season and to inspire people to take collaborative action to improve their local communities and to give back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes they support.
At The Refuge Center for Counseling, $30 provides access to high quality affordable mental healthcare in our community.
How? Because $30 covers the difference between our average cost and what we collect per counseling session.
Our client’s could be your neighbor, your child’s teacher, your co-worker. Anyone. 90% of our clients utilize our sliding scale fee system because we raise funds to support those affordable fees.
