Victoria Bear is a counselor at The Refuge Center for Counseling. Victoria completed her Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy at Trevecca Nazarene University and she is a member of the American Counseling Association, the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and Chi Sigma Iota.
Victoria’s specific areas of focus include relational issues, codependency, trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. She has a passion for working with children, adolescents, individuals, and families. She believes that every individual has the tools within them to create the change that they desire. Victoria’s goal is to help her clients to create meaningful change in their lives, and to allow clients to share and process their experiences in an environment where they feel safe, secure, and truly known.
Victoria is trained in Brainspotting (phase I & II), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Art Therapy. She incorporates Expressive Arts, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems Therapy into her practice.
