Madison Moquin, LMSW is a therapist at The Refuge Center. Madison has worked as a Licensed Master Social Worker since 2014 and is now pursuing her clinical licensure. Madison received her Bachelor of Social Work from Belmont University and her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She received a certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during her graduate studies.
Madison has valuable experience working with survivors of sexual violence, prostitution and addiction. But she has spent the majority of her career in an inpatient acute medical setting; she is especially proficient in working with clients and families navigating chronic mental and physical health issues as well as terminal illness and end of life care.
Madison is passionate about supporting and encouraging individuals and families in times of crisis and uncertainty. She is constantly inspired by the resiliency and potential of the human spirit, and believes strongly in the healing power of connectivity and relationships.
