Masters Level Intern
Leila Borders is a master’s level intern studying Marriage and Family Therapy at Lipscomb University. She received her B.S. in Psychology, Counseling, and Biblical Studies from Liberty University. She is also a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
With thirty years’ experience in pastoral ministry, Leila embodies empathy and has a natural proclivity in making her clients feel comfortable and at ease. She seeks to provide a warm and safe atmosphere for those facing depression, anxiety, panic, marriage issues, trauma, and grief. Through her own life experiences, Leila has learned the joy of walking alongside as a fellow traveler and wounded healer for others in their own therapeutic work.
