Leah Discenza

Leah Discenza is a Master’s level Intern at the Refuge Center studying Marriage and Family Therapy at Liberty University. She has her B.S in business from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and has always had a passion for working with others. She is a member of Mega Nu Lambda Honors Society and is certified as a SYMBIS Facilitator.

She is passionate about working with individuals that are on a journey of growth and healing. She wants to be a safe place for people to come and share their stories. She believes that each person has a unique journey, and she wants to be able to provide support in challenges that are faced. Leah enjoys working with individuals or couples that are challenged with intimacy struggles and relationship issues.  She also likes working with individuals that face depression, anxiety, infertility, and body image struggles.  Leah has holistic approach and believes in the connection of mind, body, and spirit. She aspires for each person to find peace in their lives, and she wants to empower those to embark on their journey of self-discovery.
