Lauren Riley, MMFT, is a counselor with The Refuge Center. She completed her Master of Marriage and Family Therapy at Trevecca Nazarene University and is currently working towards licensure. Additionally, Lauren is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and the American Counseling Association.
Lauren has deep empathy for clients experiencing hard or heavy transitions in life. With a firm belief that vulnerability and connection are vital for people to be most authentic to themselves and the world around them, Lauren seeks to walk alongside clients on their journey. Using an attachment lens, she draws from several modalities to create safety for clients to navigate challenges and rediscover their passions for all life has to offer. Lauren believes it is a privilege to get to hear her clients’ stories and is honored to be trusted in her role as counselor.
