Kinsey Morgan is a Licensed Professional Counselor Mental Health Service Provider and serves as a Therapist at The Refuge Center. She obtained her Masters of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Services from Harding University. She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trust-Based Relational Interventions (TBRI), and EMDR Levels I & II.
Kinsey developed a passion for this work after experiencing the power of healing and transformation in her own journey, and she considers it an honor to walk alongside her clients during the counseling process. Kinsey utilizes a highly relational, client-centered, Cognitive Behavioral approach. In this, she strives to foster a warm compassionate environment where clients feel safe, valued, and known. Kinsey is inspired by the individuals she has worked with in the past and looks forward to the privilege of working with others in the future. She is passionate about meeting clients where they are, but some of her areas of clinical focus are individuals dealing with trauma, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and grief/loss.
