Keith is a Master’s Level Intern at The Refuge Center studying Marriage and Family Therapy at Trevecca Nazarene University. Keith Hays’ therapy is based on the belief concretized by Dan Allender; “Helping people face their own brokenness is easy; the dilemma is to help them face their stunning beauty.” Keith helps clients see their value and worth as they work towards their desired outcomes.
Keith works with couples, young men and women, and people with trauma. Using one of the most researched therapies for couples, Keith helps partners understand the meaning of the emotions in their conversation patterns. For young adults, Keith utilizes methods to help them find clarity with their family of origin, find peace in the present, and explore the future by understanding their personal values and actions. For Trauma, Keith follows a careful method to reprocess a client’s wound in a safe way. He has also completed advanced training in Experiential Therapy and Emotionally-Focused Therapy for Couples and Individuals.
