Kat Smith

Kat Smith is an Masters Level Intern in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Lipscomb University with a specialization in play therapy. She is member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. 

Kat enjoys working with children, adults, couples, and families to provide a warm, compassionate, and safe therapeutic presence as they face relational issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, trauma, life transitions, and identity issues.  Using a common factors and integrative approach, Kat uses techniques from play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, restoration therapy, and narrative therapy.
