Kaity Campbell is a native of Ohio who has called Tennessee her home for four years now. She graduated from Miami University (of Ohio) with a Bachelors degree in psychology and a minor in creative writing in 2015. She then worked in social services in Cincinnati for a brief time before getting married and moving to Tennessee for her husband’s job. Once in Tennessee, she began working at a local psychiatric hospital, first as a mental health specialist on the inpatient units and then as the outpatient program assistant, which included both administrative and case management duties.
She first heard about The Refuge Center through a friend who completed an internship there and spoke very highly of the care provided and the staff that she worked with while there. When Kaity saw that a position was open, she knew she wanted to work for the company due to its mission to provide affordable care for those who need it. As someone who has worked in discharge planning, she understood how important this is, especially in Williamson County.
