Contract Therapist

Julie Luker is a board-certified Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider designation (temporary license) that works with all ages (including children and teens) in individual and group formats. She enjoys helping individuals with various backgrounds and experiences find a source of hope and strength. Julie utilizes a collection of techniques including EMDR to help clients explore the source of their behaviors and emotions.  She strives to be a source of safety and compassion for her clients.

Julie holds a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree from Trevecca Nazarene University, as well as a bachelor’s in journalism from the University of Alabama.  She specializes in substance use disorders, trauma, and perinatal mental health. Julie continues to pursue education and training in evidence-based interventions to provide the optimal treatment to each individual under her care. She also holds memberships in the American Counseling Association and Tennessee Licensed Professional Counselors Association. Julie is also an approved provider with Postpartum Support International.
