Jill Batson serves as a Staff Therapist/CEU Coordinator at The Refuge Center and holds a Bachelors in Family Relations and a Master’s in Marriage & Family Therapy from Lipscomb University. She is a member of the American Association of Marriage & Family Therapy, Jill is passionate about helping her clients feel seen, heard, valued, and validated as they journey towards the healing they desire in their relationships with both self and others.
Jill works with individuals, couples, and families. She enjoys helping people with issues including anxiety, depression, grief & loss, trauma, parenting, couple, and marital issues. Through an attachment lens, Jill uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Core Emotions, Narrative Therapy, Bowen Family Systems Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Play and Expressive Arts Therapy. She works to integrate these modalities to meet her clients on their level of need as they explore their story.
