Jamie Haigh, M.A.

Jamie Haigh is a counselor at The Refuge center working toward his licensure as a LPC-MHSP. Jamie obtained his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.

Jamie is passionate about creating a safe space where clients can engage with their stories. Jamie believes that engaging with the particularities of our stories illuminates the path toward healing. He is passionate about coming alongside clients as a wounded healer, guiding them on the path towards connection with themselves and those they love.

Jamie combines a strengths-based approach from solution-focused therapy with cognitive behavioral therapy and narrative therapy based on the needs of the client. Jamie is passionate about working with individuals battling addiction, depression, anxiety, broken relationships, and engaging with their emotions for the first time.
