Hannah Owens, LCSW, is a therapist at The Refuge Center who aims to integrate the whole person into the healing process- mind, body, and spirit. Holding a strong belief that every person is capable of change and healing, she is excited about helping people live as their true selves by working through barriers to authentic living.
Hannah is trained in the EMDR and SomEx models of trauma treatment and uses a variety of approaches in practice that include the strengths-based model, experiential therapy, DBT principles/skills, and somatic work. She has experience working with addictions and co-occurring disorders, trauma survivors, mental health problems, and family/relationship issues. She is also a Mental Health First Aid Instructor.
