Hannah Owens, LCSW, serves as the Director of Groups and Intensives. She believes in the power of group therapy for healing through connection with others and by knowing that you’re not alone. With experience in a variety of treatment settings, Hannah aims to integrate the whole person into the healing process- mind, body, and spirit. Holding a strong belief that every person is capable of change and healing, she is excited about helping people live as their true selves by working through barriers to authentic living.
Hannah is a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist, certified in EMDR (Level I & II), and has received training in SomEx and Family Reconstruction. She integrates these models of treatment as well as a variety of approaches that include the strengths-based model, experiential therapy, DBT principles/skills, and somatic work. She has experience working with addictions and co-occurring disorders, trauma survivors, mental health problems, and family/relationship issues. As a Mental Health First Aid Instructor, she hopes to empower community members with skills to identify and to respond effectively to mental health challenges.
