Grace Tierney is a Master’s Level Intern studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grace College and Theological Seminary. She is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), Tennessee Licensed Professional Counselor Association (TLPCA), and Chi Sigma Iota Counseling and Professional Honor Society. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Counseling emphasis from Aquinas College.
Grace works with clients of all ages including children, adolescents, and adults. She is especially interested in walking alongside clients experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and chronic illnesses. She has trainings in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), Skills for Psychological Recovery (SPR), and Psychological First Aid (PFA). Grace focuses on uniquely understanding each client. She is interested in viewing clients holistically through the lens of Family Systems, Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches. By creating a safe environment, she aims to work collaboratively with each client to meet their goals for counseling.
