Elizabeth Lomas

Elizabeth Lomas is a Master’s Level Intern at The Refuge Center studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Vanderbilt University. Prior to moving to Nashville, she completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Religion at Furman University in Greenville, SC. Her experiences facilitating a body acceptance program for women throughout college led her to pursue counseling. Elizabeth is a member of the Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic & Professional Honor Society and the American Counseling Association.

Elizabeth is eager to provide compassionate, holistic care to her clients throughout their healing journeys. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that each individual has unique strengths that can facilitate growth and self-understanding. She is especially interested in working with individuals who are experiencing grief and loss, anxiety, and depression. Elizabeth is also passionate about working with individuals who are experiencing concerns with self-esteem, body image, and interpersonal relationships.
