Collin Smith received his degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Trevecca Nazarene University. Collin also holds a license in Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling (LADAC) where he brings a wealth of experience from working at a prominent residential treatment center in Nashville. Collin is a member of American Counseling Association and NAADAC, Association for Addiction Professionals.
Collin believes that every person deserves to be heard and is capable of change. His approach to therapy is empathetic, collaborative, and creative. Collin loves creating a safe and compassionate space in which his clients feel comfortable. He uses an eclectic approach to therapy, pulling components from Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Skills, and Motivational Interviewing. Collin is also trained in EMDR.
