Arden Lynde, LPC-MHSP (temp), is a therapist at The Refuge Center. She holds a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Vanderbilt University and is currently pursuing full licensure. Arden is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotion Focused Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy. Arden also holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia.
Arden is passionate about meeting all clients where they are, though her current clinical focuses are working with individuals struggling with trauma, addiction and relationship issues. Guided by her belief that every human being is worthy and capable of change and that connection is the epicenter of human healing, Arden employs a variety of techniques, catering treatment to the individual and setting goals collaboratively with the client. Arden incorporates multiple modalities of treatment into her practice, but often uses an attachment framework and existential lens to conceptualize treatment.
Arden recognizes the validity of all gender identities and expressions, sexual orientations, races and religions and aims to create relationships/spaces with her clients in which they feel free and safe to be themselves
