Adam Kriese, LPC-MHSP (temp)

Adam Kriese is a Therapist and LPC-MHSP (temp) at The Refuge Center for Counseling. He is a National Certified Counselor, a member of the American Counseling Association, and of the Tennessee Licensed Professional Counselors Association.

Adam is passionate about facilitating a judgment free safe space and accompanying people as they journey down a path of growth and wholeness. His goal is to meeting people where they are, in the midst of their unique circumstances, and walking alongside them to encourage healing.

Whether it is anxiety, depression, grief, loss, relationship issues, trauma, difficulty with transitions, feeling stuck, or other life challenges, Adam is here to help. He uses person-centered care and incorporates cognitive, acceptance based, emotional focused, and internal family therapies. Additionally, Adam is trained in EMDR and Trauma Focused CBT.
