Adam Kriese is a Licensed Professional Therapist and Mental Health Service Provider, LPC-MHSP (temp), at The Refuge Center for Counseling. He has a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, is a National Certified Counselor, a member of the American Counseling Association, and of the Tennessee Licensed Professional Counselors Association.
Adam is passionate about facilitating a judgment free safe space and accompanying people as they journey down a path of growth and wholeness. His goal is to meeting people where they are, in the midst of their unique circumstances, and walking alongside them to encourage healing.
Adam is a trauma informed therapist who specializes in anxiety, OCD, low self-worth, grief, trauma related difficulties, and client empowerment. He uses person-centered care and incorporates cognitive, acceptance and commitment therapy, emotional focused, and internal family systems therapies. Additionally, Adam is trained in EMDR.
