Surviving the Storm therapy series

Our 2018 “Live Intentionally” Speaker Series is titled “Surviving The Storm: Living Intentionally and Leaning into Transformation When Life is Hard With Speaker Jan Harrison”. The event will be Friday, April 20th at 9:00 am at the Williamson County Enrichment Center.

How do you walk a path you’ve never been on before? How do you withstand a storm that threatens to wipe out your family and ruin your dreams? How do you keep from becoming wrecked by the uncertainties and disruptions in life? Jan Harrison’s dramatic disruption was the sudden death of her 27-year-old son. Yours may be a diagnosis, an addiction, an accident, or a disability. It could be abandonment, rejection, divorce, infertility, or the loss of a job creating both physical and emotional insecurity. Because of these situations, many of us feel as though we are adrift at sea with no compass or purpose other than survival. This speaker series will be presented FREE for our community with mini sessions following Jan Harrison focusing on the physical, emotional, financial and spiritual aspects of dealing with loss in all its forms. Advance registration is required. Doors open at 8:30 am. A light breakfast will be served. The event concludes at 12:00 pm.

About Jan Harrison. In her first book, Life After the Storm (Harvest House, April 2015), Jan shares how the unexpected death of her son transformed her life and tested her faith. With courage and compassion, the book offers readers hope and the tools to stop living in fear and experience the transforming faith that only a storm can unveil. Read more about Jan Harrison here.
