Our 6th annual Hope Grows dinner fundraiser held last Tuesday, October 23rd was our most successful ever! This event celebrates the hope, healing, and transformation our clients experience through counseling. It is also our most significant fundraiser of the year and provides funds to support our sliding scale counseling fees.

Hope Grows raised a total of $161,000! We are so grateful for the generosity of our community and the support you provide to further our mission to offer affordable, high-quality professional counseling to everyone, regardless of income level.

You can still offer HOPE with your financial gifts. Make a secure, tax-deductible donation now. Or you can text “Give” to 615-422-4417. Be a part of the movement and give hope and “refuge” to someone experiencing a life storm.

It was an honor to present our annual Hope Award to Taj and Eddie George, accepted by their 13-year-old son Eriq George in their absence. Jamie Kimmett is an incredible musician and he shared his gift of music and ministry with us. Listen to his new single “Since I Met You.”

Thank you to all who supported the event with your time, your presence, your gifts, and your prayers. We appreciate it very much.

Here are four videos we shared last week at the event for the first time, if you have a few minutes:

1) Stories of Hope 2018 – Three brave Refuge Center clients share their stories of hope, healing, and transformation.

2) 2018 Hope Award Recipients Taj and Eddie George – The Hope Award is given annually to a member of the Middle Tennessee community that embodies the mission of The Refuge Center: to empower, educate, and support those in need.

3) About The Refuge Center – Learn more about who we serve and what we do at The Refuge Center for Counseling.

4) Help us “Grow Home” – land update regarding our quest to build our permanent home.
